Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the above-identified controller, which functions such that when the intake air quantity exceeds a predetermined value it stops the feed-back correction by the detection value of an air-to-fuel ratio detector to hold the integral value at a predetermined value while also rendering the air-fuel mixture supplied to the engine richer to prevent burning of the catalyst under high load operation.
