Abstract:

PURPOSE: To eliminate air-fuel ratio shift caused by a difference in purge distribution and calculate a learning value on the basis of only secular deterioration shift so as to improve leaning accuracy of air-fuel ratio control by considering a value made free from any air-fuel ratio change caused by purge including dispersion of distribution property as a secular change.
CONSTITUTION: It is judged by a means 5 whether an internal combustion engine 1 is in a purge range or not. An air-fuel ratio correcting coefficient is learnt by a means 6 per operating range per cylinder in the internal combustion engine 1, and also it is judged by a means learning per operation range is completed or not. The shift of an air fuel ratio by inter-cylinder distribution rate according to a purge rate varied by a means 6 is calculated by a means 8. When it is judged that the internal combustion engine 1 is in purge condition and learning has not been completed in a present operation range, the difference between the air-fuel ratio correcting coefficient and the air-fuel ratio shift width is learnt by a means A 9 as a non-learning time air-fuel ratio correction coefficient. Meanwhile, the learning value of the air-fuel ratio correction coefficient is reflected by a means A10 on a fuel injection amount set by a means A1.
