Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve accuracy of feed back control of an air fuel ratio in an internal combustion engine.
CONSTITUTION: An air fuel ratio is replaced into an air fuel ratio equivalent value LMD from the output value of an air fuel ratio sensor (Step 1 to 3), the deviation ERLMD between a target air fuel ratio and the air fuel ratio equivalent value LMD is found out (Step 4), an intake air flow equivalent value QLMD is calculated (step 5), Proportion P is set as P=ERLMD.QLMD.KP (KP is a constant), and Integration I is set as I=ERLMD.Q2LMD.KI(KI is a constant, Q2LMD=QLMD2). It is thus possible to set proportion P and the integration I in which consideration of delay of output starting-up and a time constant of the air fuel ratio sensor is taken.
