Title:
AIR-FUEL RATIO CONTROL DEVICE FOR ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3493697
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent fluctuation of an air-fuel ratio at the time of half activity of an O2 sensor by changing a control starting timing according to output responsiveness of the O2 sensor when a fuel injection amount is feed back-controlled on the basis of the detection signal of the O2 sensor arranged in an exhaust system.
CONSTITUTION: In an engine 2, air is supplied from an intake pipe 1 through a throttle chamber 4 provided with a throttle valve 5 and a bypass passage 3 provided with an ISCV 7. Fuel is supplied from a fuel injector 6. The ISCV (current control type solenoid valve) 7 and the fuel injector 6 are respectively controlled at least by an ECU(engine control unit) 8 on the basis of the detection signal outputted from an O2 sensor 16 arranged by an exhaust pipe 13. As a result, the air-fuel ratio of air mixture is controlled. In this case, output responsiveness of the O2 sensor 16 is detected by the ECU 8. The feed back control starting timing of a fuel injection amount by the fuel injector 16 is changed in response to the detected output responsivenes.
