Abstract:
PURPOSE: To maintain an air-fuel ratio at a proper value even when a throttle valve is opened during closing a subvalve, in a carburetor having a subvalve located on the downstream side of the throttle valve.
CONSTITUTION: In a carburetor wherein a subvalve 21 to change the cross section of the flow passage of an intake passage is located in an intake passage 17 on the downstream side of a throttle valve 19, an idle port 43 being a fuel feed passage opened to the downstream of the subvalve 21 during closing operation of the subvalve 21 is provided. Correction of the increase of fuel owing to an applying negative pressure is carried out.
