Abstract:
To provide an air heater device capable of operating for a long term without generating thermal deformation by devising the structure of an air heater, and having been improved so as to exhibit sufficient HC and CO generation prevention action.SOLUTION: An air heater device comprises a heater unit 11 having first and second heaters 7A, 7B and capable of heating intake air of an engine, where the air heater device is configured to perform an alternate heating mode in which the first heater 7A and the second heater 7B are alternately operated. The first heater 7A and the second heater 7B are arranged along a flow direction of the intake air, and provided in the heater unit 11 as one component in which both 7A and 7B are laminated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
