Abstract:
To provide an air heater of trash incineration equipment high in dew point resistance and to provide a steel used therefor.
Stainless steel contg., by weight, ≤0.1% C, 0.1 to 1.0% Si, 0.1 to 2.0% Mn, 20.0 to 28.0% Cr and 3.0 to 7.0% Mo in steel and satisfying [Cr]+3×[Mo]≥35 is used for the heat transmitting member of an air heater of trash incineration equipment. In the case of duplex stainless steel, it may have a compn. contg. 25.0 to 28.0% Cr, 3.0 to 4.0% Mo and 6.0 to 9.0% Ni, and satisfying [Cr]+3×[Mo]≥35.
