Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of fouling of a resonator owing to oil mist in blowby gas.
CONSTITUTION: In the intake duct of an internal combustion engine wherein a box-form container 6 having a resonance chamber 7 formed at the periphery of an intake duct 4 is provided and the intake duct 4 and the resonance chamber 4 are intercommunicated through a through hole 8, the through-hole 8 is opened to the resonance chamber 7 in a state to point to a position above a horizontal. The intake port 11 of a blowby ventilation passage is connected to the resonance chamber 7 and the intake port 11 is opened to a position above the through-hole 8.
