To provide an air intake duct for a vehicle that does not occupy a large space for installation and can reduce noise remarkably.
The air intake duct 30 comprises a first duct 32 including a first flow path 34 formed to have a first cross-sectional area S1 and a second duct 36 including a second flow path 38 formed to have a second cross-sectional area S2 larger than the first duct 32. The second duct 36 is provided with a first shut-off valve 42 for opening/closing the second flow path 38 according to an amount of intake air of an engine E and a second shut-off valve 44 that is located apart from and on the downstream side of the first shut-off valve 42 in the air flow direction so as to open/close in conjunction with the first shut-off valve 42. Further, the air intake duct 30 includes a communication duct 46 for connecting the first duct 32 and the second duct 36 to each other. When both the shut-off valves 42, 44 move to close, a resonance space 38a communicating with only the first flow path 34 is defined between the shut-off valves 42, 44.
