PURPOSE: To ensure generation of flow of cold air, without being influenced by wind even under high wind.
CONSTITUTION: A cold air device 2 is provided with a tower body 3 which is erected roughly vertically, and inside which an air passage 19 extending vertically is formed, an air intake 9 which communicates with the upper part of the air passage 19, an air outlet 31 which communicates with the lower part of the air passage 19, a water jetting means 11 which jets out water in the shape of shower downward from the upper part of the air passage 19 in the air passage 19, and a water recovering means 13 which receives shower falling down through the air passage 19. The air intake 9 comprises a partition plate 43, which extends vertically inside the upper part of the air passage 19, and which defines the inside of the upper part of the air passage 19 into a plurality of air intake passages 45 in a horizontal direction, and an opening 47 which communicates with each of the air intake passages 45 to the outside parts of the air intake passages 45.
