Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake structure of a compressor, which can reduce a pressure loss when intake air passes through an annular flow channel.SOLUTION: An intake structure 1A of a compressor comprises: an intake duct 3 forming an intake port 30 which is opened in a direction away from the central axis of the compressor; and a bell mouth 4 forming an annular flow channel 43 which expands from the inlet of the compressor toward the internal space of the intake duct, the bell mouth including plural struts 5 which connect an inner casing 41 situated inside the annular flow channel and an outer casing 42 situated outside the annular flow channel. Among the plural struts, at least one of the plural lateral struts situated on both sides to the central plane which passes the central axis of the compressor and the center of the intake port has a trailing edge 7 lying on a virtual plane passing the central axis of the compressor and has a leading edge 6 lying on the intake port side relative to the virtual plane.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
