Title:
Air intake structure of an internal-combustion engine
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP6262587
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine intake structure for preventing the adhesion of a spray fuel sprayed from a fuel injection valve onto an intake port and accelerating atomizing the spray fuel, and improving fuel economy and internal combustion engine power output while increasing the flow velocity of an air-fuel mixture passing through an interior of the intake port.SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine intake structure comprises: an intake port 41 provided to be curved from a direction of crossing a cylinder axis L to a direction along the cylinder axis L; and a single intake valve 25 opening or closing a flow of intake air from the intake port 41 into a combustion chamber 21, an interior of the intake port 41 being vertically divided by a partition wall 71 into an upper passage 41a and a lower passage 41b, a fuel injection valve 54 injecting a fuel toward the upper passage 41a that is located outside of the curved shape being disposed on an upstream side of the intake port 41, and a fuel dome chamber 42 accelerating vaporization of the diffused spray fuel being formed on an upper wall 41c of the intake port 41.
