Title:
Air intake structure of an internal-combustion engine
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP6268604
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress flow channel resistance in an auxiliary intake passage for generating tumble flow, and to simplify a constitution to reduce costs, in an intake structure of an internal combustion engine which is divided into a main intake passage in which a part at a downstream side with respect to a throttle valve of an intake passage communicated with an intake port of a cylinder head and a part of the intake port are opened and closed by a lead valve mounted on a lead valve stay, and the auxiliary intake passage bypassing the lead valve, and in which the lead valve stay is formed separately from the intake duct and mounted on the intake duct.SOLUTION: Individual passages 54, 55, 56 having the circular cross-sectional shape and linearly extended, are respectively formed on a lead valve stay 49, an intake duct 39 and a cylinder head 25, and the individual passages 54-56 are communicated with each other to configure an auxiliary intake passage 48.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
