Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an air intake valve arrangement structure for an engine which efficiently generates tumble inside a combustion chamber, and improve combustion performance.
CONSTITUTION: The diameter of the valve head 6b' of a first intake valve 6b is set smaller than diameters of valve heads 6a', 6c' of second and third intake valves 6a, 6c respectively. An edge 6d on the side of the center O of a combustion chamber on the surface of the valve head 6b' of the first intake valve 6b is located on a line L obtained by mutally connecting intersections B of axes of the second and third air intake valves 6a, 6c and the valve head surfaces 6a', 6c', or the position more on the side of the combustion chamber center O from the line L.
