Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust a headrest in a position according with the build of a person receiving massage by moving up and down relative to the back and reliably lock and easily unlock despite vertical adjustability.
SOLUTION: The air massager has a seat portion 4 and a back portion 5. A headrest 21 having air bags 2 to perform air massage is vertically movably mounted to the back portion 5. An engagement portion 30 provided in the back portion 5 and an engaged portion 44 provided in the headrest 21 can be freely engaged, and a plurality of at least the engagement portion 30 or the engaged portion 44 is vertically provided to make the position in which the engagement portion 30 and the engaged portion 44 are engaged freely selectable. An elastic member to hold the engagement portion 30 and the engaged portion 44 in an engaged condition is provided. By adding an external force resisting a locking force to the headrest 21 by the elastic member 42, the engaged condition of the engagement portion 30 and the engaged portion 44 can be released.
