Title:
AIR OUTLET STRUCTURE FOR AIR CONDITIONER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2008001344
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To ensure air volume and wind velocity of an air conditioner, to have excellent directivity, and to make an air outlet to a vehicle cabin have a thin structure.

In the air outlet structure 10 for an air conditioner, shutter members 39, 40 move according to the operation of a right-and-left adjusting knob 33, thereby selecting a flow passage through which the conditioned air flows from a plurality of flow passages 30C, 30L, 30R in a case 12. Therefore, it is not necessary to provide a plurality of fins for changing a right-and-left blowing out direction in the flow passage in the case 12. Consequently, an effective cross-sectional area of the flow passage in the case 12 can be ensured, and the air amount and wind velocity of the conditioned air can be sufficiently ensured. The flow passages 30C, 30L, 30R in the case 20 are assigned to a predetermined blowing out directions in advance, so that the conditioned air excellent in also directivity can be obtained. Furthermore, as mentioned above, the effective cross-sectional area of the flow passage in the case 12 can be ensured, so that the air outlet 74 to a vehicle cabin is made to have a structure thinner in a vehicle vertical direction or a vehicle lateral direction than a conventional one.
