Abstract:
To provide an air pressure type booster with a reduced weight.SOLUTION: A front chamber A in a housing 2 is divided into a front side constant pressure chamber A1 and a front side variable pressure chamber A2 by a front side power piston 25. On the other hand, a rear chamber B in the housing 2 is divided into a rear side constant pressure chamber B1 and a rear side variable pressure chamber B2 by a rear side power piston 28. The rear side power piston 28 comprises: a rear side diaphragm 29; and a rear side piston member 32 positioned at the rear side constant pressure chamber B1 side and formed along the rear side diaphragm 29. The rear side diaphragm 29 is provided with protruding parts 30 protruding toward the interior of the rear side variable pressure chamber B2. A space part 30B is formed between each protruding part 30 and the rear side piston member 32.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
