PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform appropriate tire air pressure warning even when a tire for a vehicle is exchanged for a tire for the vehicle having a different tire characteristic.
SOLUTION: An air pressure warning device comprises air pressure sensors 6 to 9, an announcing device 30 for announcing an air pressure state, a control unit 20 for making the announcing device 30 display the air pressure state of the tire for the vehicle, and a tire characteristic inputting device 50 for the vehicle for inputting suitable air pressure information related to the characteristic of the tire for the vehicle to the control unit 20. The control unit 20 is provided with a suitable air pressure correcting means 20h for correcting a suitable air pressure stored in a suitable air pressure storing means 20d based on the suitable air pressure information related to the characteristic of the tire for the vehicle inputted from the tire characteristic inputting device 50 for the vehicle. Therefore, the suitable air pressure is corrected based on the suitable air pressure information inputted to the control unit 20, so that the appropriate tire air pressure warning can be performed even when the tire is changed.
