Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and relatively low-cost air pump device capable of easily increasing/decreasing pump capacity by connecting a plurality of pump bodies to each other through a casing.
SOLUTION: Pump mechanisms 4 (4A, 4B) are provided with first intake ports IN-1 for allowing air outside pump chambers 62 (62A, 62B) to flow into diaphragm chambers on one side and second intake ports for allowing air in the pump chambers to flow into the diaphragm chambers on the other side when the diaphragm chambers are expanded; and first exhaust ports for allowing air in the diaphragm chambers on one side to flow out to the pump chambers, and second exhaust ports OUT-2 for allowing air in the diaphragm chambers on the other side to flow out to the outside of the pump chambers 62 (62A, 62B) when the diaphragm chambers are compressed. The first intake port and second exhaust port of each pump mechanism are coaxially arranged so that the output side (second exhaust port OUT-2) of one pump mechanism 4A communicates in conformity with the input side (first intake port IN-1) of the other pump mechanism 4B.
