To provide an air pump where two air discharge openings are not fixedly connected to an air passage in a casing and a form of connection of the two air discharge openings with the air passage in the casing is easily switchable.
This air pump comprises a pump body 2 for discharging air, branching passages for dividing the discharged air from the pump body 2 received at an inlet opening into two systems, two discharge openings 5, 6 connected to ends 7, 8 of the branching passages, and a passage switching device provided at a branch part of the branching passages. An adaptor 3 capable of switching the connection of the two ends 7, 8 of the branching passages with the discharge openings 5, 6 is put between the two ends 7, 8 of the branching passages and the two discharge openings 5, 6.
