Abstract:
The invention provides an air pump which has little vibration and vibration sound, or can prevent a contact of an air pressure detecting switch sucking and exhausting air from vibrating. The air pump adopts the following proposal that a pump chamber formed by a membrane (A) is made on a crank-shaped fixed base made of metal and provided with an output shaft of an electric motor in an orthogonal mode, the membrane (A) is vibrated by the rotation of an eccentric cam arranged on the output shaft of the electric motor, and the air pumps sucks and exhausts air in the pump chamber; or the membrane part of the membrane (A) is provided with an annular thick wall part, and vibration of the membrane produced due to change of pressure of the air is inhibited by a thick wall part with larger inertial mass; or the upper part of a check valve at an air suction port side forms an air chamber, the air pump is provided with a membrane (B) movable due to pressure change of the air chamber, and the membrane is operable to detect a switch.
