Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of parts and further to obtain stable information from an air flow meter, in a case of an insertion cylinder member being inserted in the air lead-out passage cylinder part of a cap.
SOLUTION: An air purifier for an internal combustion engine is provided in an air lead-out passage cylinder part 32A molded integrally with a cap 3A with an air flow meter E, and with an insertion cylinder member 4A removably mounted with a airflow rectifying part F located at the air-lead-out passage cylinder part 32A. The airflow rectifying part F is formed integrally with the air lead-out passage cylinder part 32A or the insertion cylinder member 4A on the side situated upper stream from the airflow meter E. A recess-form guide part 43 (34) and a protrusion-form guide part 323 (44), relatively movable fitted in each other, are provided such that one or the other of the insertion cylinder member 4A and an air lead-out passage cylinder part 3A is removaly mounted on the air lead-out passage cylinder part 3A through peripheral rotation of the insertion cylinder member 4A.
