To provide an air cleaner with a humidification function that almost eliminates noise heard by a user in front of a body and enables the user to visually check a water level in a tank with ease.
The tank 3 having a water gauge in a front surface is disposed in the front of a body casing 1, a water pan 4 for receiving water dripping from the tank 3 is disposed under the tank 3, and an air cleaning filter 7 for cleaning air taken in from a back surface is disposed in the back of the body casing 1. An evaporation filter 10 for sucking in the water in the water pan 4 and evaporating the water sucked in with the air cleaned by the air cleaning filter 7 is disposed in front of the air cleaning filter 7 and behind the tank 3 such that the evaporation filter 10 and a back surface of the tank 3 form an air passage. A multi-blade fan 9 for sucking in the clean air humidified by the evaporation filter 10 via the air passage 11 and forcibly discharging it upward into an external space such as a room is disposed over the evaporation filter 10.
