Abstract:
To provide a high-performance air purifier that can more efficiently remove harmful substances in a gas treatment section.
The air purifier releases a gas 6b to be purified that is put through a discharge electrode section 9 made up of discharge electrodes 7 and plate like counter electrodes 8 by passing it through the gas treatment section 10 removing harmful substances. By arranging the discharge electrode section 9 and the gas treating section 10 so as to ensure that the purified gas in the gas treatment section 10 may follow the faces of the counter electrodes and arranging the lower ends E of the counter electrodes in contact with the gas treating section 10, the removing performance of harmful substances can be improved.
