Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate a temperature of air in an intercooler more precisely by an air quantity estimation device which estimates the air quantity introduced into a cylinder of an internal combustion engine with a supercharger.SOLUTION: An intercooler model M5 is expressed by equations (1), (2). Since the equation (2) includes a feedback term K(Tmsens-Tm) proportional to a difference between a real temperature Tmsens of air in an intake manifold 22 based on an output of a temperature sensor 90 and an intake manifold temperature Tm, a temperature of air at an exit of the intake manifold 22 can be estimated highly precisely.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
