Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent drifting of an air flow to be diffused in a furnace by facilitating regulation of an air flow rate, improving durability, increasing lengths of air passages, and sufficiently obtaining inlet lengths of the air flows.
CONSTITUTION: Combustion air 113 fed into a burner wind box 101 is fed into an air register installed in a furnace wall of a boiler, etc., via a butterfly damper 106 for regulating primary and secondary air flow rates and a butterfly damper 107 for regulating a tertiary air flow rate. Air flow passages form a plurality of circular and annular air passages formed on concentric circles thereby to form a plurality of nozzles of concentric circles to diffuse combustion airs, thereby distributing air flow rates to be diffused from the nozzles by the dampers. Inlet sides of primary and secondary air passages 110 and ill are surrounded by a cylinder to form a common cylindrical air chamber 129, and a plurality of butterfly dampers 106 are provided at symmetrical positions on a circumference of the inlet.
