Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air resistance reduction device capable of improving fuel consumption by stabilizing a circular vortex.SOLUTION: An air resistance reduction device 20, installed on a vehicle 10 in which a height of a cab 13 is lower than a height of a van 14 positioned behind the cab 13, includes two covering parts 21 adjacent to each other with a central part in a y direction as a boundary, provided on a front face top 17 of the van 14 existing above the cab 13. The covering parts 21 are constituted of air intake guides 22-24 projecting forward from the front face top 17 and are formed into such a semicircular shape that its lower side is open when viewed from front to back in an X-direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
