To provide an air rotating tool regulating the speed of rotation of an air motor by regulating exhaust amount by fingers of a hand for holding the air rotating tool.
A cylindrical regulator 14 is made rotatable by an angle of a prescribed range with a shaft as a center for a cylindrical housing 12. In the regulator 14, a cut-out 40 and a recessed part 42 for opening an exhaust hole 24 formed on a motor body 20 and thickness parts 44a and 44b for closing the exhaust hole 24 are formed. The regulator 14 can be rotated by the fingers of the hand for holding the housing 12, and the speed of rotation of the air motor 16 can be regulated by regulating air quantity discharged from the exhaust hole 24 of the motor body 20.
