To provide an air shower that can make dust particles to be separated surely from cloths, etc., and can prevent the re-adhesion of the separated dust particles to the clothes, etc. by efficiently discharging the particles from an air shower room.

In the air shower room having an outlet to a high-cleanliness clean room and an inlet from a low-cleanliness clean room, a plurality of air blowing-out means are positioned in side sections so that a swirling air flow may be generated toward the floor surface of the room from the upper part and other air blowing-out means are provided in the upper part of the room so that air may be blown out toward the floor surface of the room. In addition, air inlets through which the swirling air flow is sucked from the floor surface or side sections near the floor surface are provided. When air outlets are attached to columns which are positioned to the four corners of the air shower room as partial frames of the room and have hollow cross sections and air is blown out to generate the swirling air flow from the air outlets through the hollow sections of the columns, the size of the air shower room can be reduced and the adjustment of the swirling air flow becomes easier.
