Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an air silencer mounting device to a carburetor of an internal combustion engine for cutting off vibration.
CONSTITUTION: This device includes a carburetor 15 having an air introduction passage 17 having an air inlet part, an air silencer having a wall 31 extending transversely in adjacently spaced relation to the induction passage, a sleeve 41 having an inner end portion received in the inlet portion of the carburetor 15 in telescopic engagement therewith, and an outer end portion 19, and an elastic member 43 sealingly engaging the outer end portion of the sleeve 41 and the wall 31 of the air silencer 13 to and removably connect the air silencer 13 to the carburetor 15.
