An air slide device 1 comprises: a rail 2 with slider guide surfaces 211, 212 formed of a magnetic substance; and a slider 3 that moves in the longitudinal direction X of the rail 2 on the slider guide surfaces 211, 212 of the rail 2 in a non-contact manner. The slider 3 comprises: slide plates 31 combined in the shape of the letter L; and first and second air bearings 4A, 4B attached to the slide plates 31 so as to be interposed between the slide plates 31 and the rail 2. Each of the first and second air bearings 4A, 4B comprises: a magnetic-force generating part 41 that generates a magnetic force; and a compressed-air supply part 42 that is arranged around the magnetic-force generating part 41 and discharges compressed air. The end surface 421 of the compressed-air supply part 42 and the end surface 411 of the magnetic-force generating part 41 together constitute a support surface 40 that faces each slider guide surfaces 211, 212 of the rail 2 in a non-contact manner.
