Title:
AIR SPRING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS59175644
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make a maximum stroke larger in relation to a setting space, by turning a diaphragm over more than twice in time of the maximum compression of an air spring, while making up the overlapping wall so as to become more than three layers. CONSTITUTION:A diaphragm 3 is turned over twice at the side of a first member 1 and one time at the side of a second member 2 respectively, thereby making the overlapping wall into a form of a four layers. That is to say, the diaphragm 3 of this air spring has three-layer overlapping walls (a), (b), (c) and (d) which form a folded way at their boundary parts and make each diameter larger in order toward upside from downside, and in time of the maximum compression of these overlapping walls, it is moved to a chain line position and so designed to be superposed sideways in a row. In this air spring, among four- layer walls, three layers of (b), (c) and (d) contribute to its stroke, capable of making the stroke larger in relation to a setting space.
