To provide an air station ship allowing land-based aircraft to take off and land thereon which is simple in structure, manufacturable inexpensively, and is commercially viable regarding maintenance cost and labor cost so as to avoid noise and increase safety.
This air station ship includes: an air station deck 10 having a runway deck 101 and a standby way deck 102; and a plurality of lower hulls 20 for supporting the air station deck. A part or all of the runway deck 101 is formed in a rising gradient deck 1011. Each lower hull 20 includes a pod propulsion unit. Lower hull rows each of which includes a plurality of lower hulls disposed in series at intervals are disposed parallel to each other in two or more rows at intervals. Power is supplied from a generator installed in one of the lower hulls to the pod propulsion unit of the each lower hull.
