To provide an air stream layer gasifying apparatus in which a fuel supply apparatus is simplified.
The present air stream layer gasifying gas apparatus 1a comprises a gasifying furnace body 3, a fuel supply apparatus 5B, and produced gas utilization installation that utilizes produced gas produced in the fuel supply apparatus 5B. The fuel supply apparatus 5B comprises a fuel pulverizing installation 51B1 and a fuel pulverizing control system 51B2. The fuel pulverizing installation 51B1 is adapted such that a coal supplier is driven with a coal supply control signal 125. The fuel pulverizing control system 51B2 drives the fuel pulverizing installation 51B1 based upon a level meter signal 131 of a powder level of a regulated pressure hopper 78 of a lock hopper system 53 and the amount of supply of a fuel to the gasifying furnace body 3 of the lock hopper system 53 (pulverized cool flow rate signal 110) such that the powder level of the regulated pressure hopper 78 falls within a predetermined range. With the aforementioned arrangement a pulverized coal primary storage system can be eliminated to bring the apparatus construction to simplification.
