To provide a new air supply/discharge structure for a heat exchanger which enables not only prevention of any short pass in the air supply/discharge operation but also securing of a stable amount of feed air and minimizes the size of a pipe hood outdoors.
This air supply/discharge structure is for a heat exchanger 1 to perform a heat exchange between outside air and air in a room when the outside air is taken into the room while the air in the room is discharged outdoors. In this case, an external wall vent layer 8 communicating with outdoor atmosphere is provided between an external wall material 5 and an exterior material 6 arranged separately therefrom, and a feed air port 2 is provided open to the external wall vent layer 8 to take the outside air into the heat exchanger 1. An exhaust port 3 is provided being directly opened to outdoors to discharge the air in the room outdoors from the heat exchanger 1.
