Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an air suction and discharge device which operates smoothly regardless of quality of water to be fed without using a float by making air mess exist in the upper section of an auxiliary tank by all means, positioning a check valve in the air at all time, and opening and closing a discharge valve which is operated in the discharge process forcedly.
CONSTITUTION: A discharge valve 11 is mounted at discharge port 9 in the lower section of an auxiliary tank 6 which is communicated with a suction and discharge port 4 of a water feed pipe 1, and the discharge valve 11 is opened forcedly in the discharge process. A check valve 8 is mounted in the upper section of the auxiliary tank 6 and opened automatically in the suction process. Further, in the upper section of the auxiliary tank 6, a high pressure gas source 13 is communicated via an open and close valve 14, and a first liquid surface detection means 15 which detectd the case where liquid surface in the auxiliary tank 6 reaches the predetermined upper limit position which is above the discharge port 9 and the case where liquid surface lowers down to the predetermined lower limit position is provided. When the first liquid surface detection means 15 detects the upper limit position, the open and close valve 14 is opened. Then, when it detects the lower limit position, the open and close valve 14 is closed.
