Title:
AIR SUPPLY VALVE FOR DRY SUITS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3133653
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically supply pressurized air inside of a dry suit in the water by moving a diaphragm against energizing force of an inner spring so as to make a lid deform inside to supply pressurized air in the dry suit automatically when inside pressure becomes lower than that of outside.
SOLUTION: A diaphragm 42 is pre-loaded by both an inner spring 36 and outer spring 64. This process is effective to reduce the size of the diaphragm 42, as operation force to push a pin member 40 for operating a valve for a pneumatic tire 36 is large, and the diaphragm 42 should have a large cross section to get the necessary operation in the moderate pressure difference between the inside and the outside of a dry suit. The spring force is capable of adjusting by turning an adjustment dial 60 by each diver to fit pressure difference between the inside and the outside of the dry suit due to posture or physical difference. It is thus capable of adjusting and set pressure difference at the time of starting air supply with a feed valve for the dry suit.
