PURPOSE: To enable to slantingly attach a chock absorber, eliminating variations of the function of buffering by providing a shock absorber supported slidably to a damper body and a guide member for restraining eccentricity of an outer shell coupled to a vehicle body.
CONSTITUTION: The shock absorber 10 is composed of the damper body 11 in which an oil chamber is formd and the piston rod 12. And the closed air chamber 15 is formed between the outer shell 13, 13a and the damper body 11 by means of the diaphragm 14, and an adjusting device for air pressure is coupled to the closed air chamber 15 through the port 16 for supplying and exhausting air. In this case, the cylindrical guide member 18 is fixed to the damper body 11 to restrain the relative eccentric movement of the shock absorber 10 and the outer shell 13. And the sliding piece 19 with small coefficient of friction is attached to the guide member 18. Whereby, it is possible to exhibit the function of buffering even if the shock absorber 10 is slantingly attached.
