Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air valve with an auxiliary valve and a connecting mechanism for the air valve with the auxiliary valve capable of exhibiting excellent connection strength between the air valve and the auxiliary valve, and capable of preventing the air valve and the auxiliary valve from displacing or coming off from each other even when being vibrated by an earthquake or the like, and capable of restraining leakage.SOLUTION: In an air valve with an auxiliary valve 1, an air valve 4 and an auxiliary valve 5 are formed integrally. The air valve 4 includes a main valve casing 7A having a large air hole 8, a loosely moving valve element 15 having a small air hole 14 and lifting and lowering to open and close the large air hole 8, and a float valve element 13 lifting and lowering to open and close the small air hole 14 of the loosely moving valve element 15. The auxiliary valve 5 includes an auxiliary valve casing 7B having a water communication passage, and an auxiliary valve element 26 provided in the auxiliary valve casing 7B to open and close the communication passage. The main valve casing 7A and the auxiliary valve casing 7B are integrally formed so as to form a valve casing 7. In the air valve 4, a lid body 9 having the large air hole 8 is detachable from the valve casing 7, and in the auxiliary valve 5, a fitting unit part 37 including a lower opening 35 is detachable from the auxiliary valve casing 7B.
