Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air valve capable of being used for cleaning a pipe, maintenance of a pipe conduit and a hydrant by exerting water conduction function without separately needing a base while having a function as the air valve for surely discharging the air inside, and keeping compactness while suppressing pressure loss by simplifying an internal structure.SOLUTION: A guide body 2 accommodating a float valve element 3 and a floating valve element 4 is disposed in a valve casing 1, a detachable cover 5 having a large air hole 12 and a base 15 is fixed to an upper opening portion 6 of the valve case 1 through proper fixing means 11, the detachable cover 5 and the guide body 2 accommodating the float valve element 3 and the floating valve element 4, are taken out from the opening portion 6 of the valve case 1 according to the necessity, and the detachable cover 5 having the large air hole 12 and the base 15 is fixed to the opening portion 6 of the valve case 1 in the taking-out state.
