Abstract:
To provide an air valve which can supply water with simple operation.SOLUTION: An air valve includes a valve body 1. The valve body 1 includes: a valve box 10 in which an air hole 11 for discharging air is formed at an upper part and a communication hole 13 for communicating with a pipe is formed at a lower part; and a valve body 14 which is housed in the valve box 10 and is biased upward by buoyancy of water to close the air hole 11. The air valve further includes: a first coupling tool 6 of a cylindrical coupling provided at the upper part of the valve body 1; and a valve body pressing tool 8 which is provided at the inner side of the first coupling tool 6 so as to be movable in a vertical direction. The valve body pressing tool 8 is pressed down by a second coupling tool 7 to inhibit the valve body 14 from closing the air hole 11 when the second coupling tool 7 of the coupling is coupled to the first coupling tool 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
