PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To positively cut off communication between the inside of a valve casing and the inside of a pipeline by exhausting air in the pipeline by vertical movement of a float generated by a fluid flowing into the valve casing from the pipeline, and providing a seal part brought into close contact at the time of the valve casing ascending or descending, between the valve casing and an outer cylinder.
SOLUTION: During normal use, an external thread 15 of a valve casing 10 is positioned at the upper part of an internal thread 25 so that a sealant 13 provided at the bottom plate lower face of the valve casing 10 is separated from the bottom plate upper face of an outer cylinder 20. When water is made to flow into a pipeline 4 in this state, air in the pipeline 4 is exhausted, and the water flows into a fluid passage 3 and further flows into the valve casing 10 from a through hole provided at the lower part of the valve casing 10. This inflow of water makes a float valve element 1 float, and in association with this, a floating valve element 2 is pushed up. At the time of performing cleaning and inspection, a valve element part 30 and the valve casing 10 are rotated to screw the external thread 15 into the internal thread 25, and the valve casing 10 is lowered in relation to the outer cylinder 20 to bring the sealant 13 into pressure contact with the bottom plate upper face of the outer cylinder 20, thus obtaining a passage cutoff state.
