Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air valve capable of removing a lid body from a valve box without removing a bolt shaft and a nut from the valve box, the bolt shaft and nut configured to attach the lid body to the valve box.SOLUTION: An air valve 1 includes: a valve box formed with an aperture at its upper part; a support part provided at a side part of the valve box, formed with an open hole extending vertically; a lid body 12 installed at the upper part of the valve box, and formed with a first insertion hole 12a; a bolt shaft 13 inserted into the open hole of the support part and the first insertion hole of the lid body; a first projection 14 provided on an outer peripheral surface of the bolt shaft, and capable of being inserted into the first insertion hole of the lid body; and a nut screwed into the bolt shaft, and contacting with a lower surface of the support part. The first projection rotates integrally with the bolt shaft to enable switching between a fixing state of locking to the lid body to fix the lid body to the valve box, and a release state of being insertable into the first insertion hole of the lid body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
