To provide a light-weight flame-retardant airbag cover having excellent flame retardancy and tear strength, a method for producing the airbag cover and an airbag holding member.

The flame-retardant airbag cover is composed of a composite nonwoven fabric produced by laminating (A) a nonwoven fabric composed of (a) a flame-retardant polyester staple fiber having a fineness of 1.1-3.3 dtx and (b) a sheath-core thermo-adhesive polyester staple fiber having a fineness of 1.1-6.6 dtx and an LOI value of 25 or less at an a/b mixing weight ratio of 30/70 to 60/40 and (B) a spun-bonded polyester or polyolefin nonwoven fabric having a fineness of 1-3 dtx and an LOI value of 25 or less, and interlacing, welding and fixing the fibers to obtain an integrated product by needle punching, heat-treatment with a drier and a flat hot-roll calender. Further provided are a method for producing the cover, an airbag holding member, or the like.
