Abstract:
To minimize contacting between an airbag and an occupant in an expansion process, in an airbag device equipped with the airbag expanding/deploying along a seat belt.
An expanding portion 12 of an airbag module 10 is folded to a base end portion 13 which is a part fixing the expanding portion 12 from a tip end portion side. A folded portion 12e on the most base end portion 13 side of the folded parts, is folded in a direction separating a part on a tip end portion 12d side rather than the folded portion 12e from an occupant P.
