Title:
AIRCRAFT ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR OPERATING THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2016026950
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aircraft environment conditioning system capable of detecting device failure.SOLUTION: An aircraft environment conditioning system having an air cycle machine, which decreases a temperature and a pressure of airflow including high temperature compressive air and thereby conditions the airflow, is disclosed. The air cycle machine is disposed in a housing 105 in a non-compression area of an aircraft, generates conditioned compressive air, and sends the conditioned compressive air to a compression area of the aircraft. The system further includes: vibration sensors 152, 154, 156, 158 disposed in the housing; and a controller 160 which is formed so as to respond to vibrations detected by the vibration sensors and communicates with the vibration sensors.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
