Abstract:
To provide a method for maintenance of an aircraft including an aircraft system.
An aircraft system 200 is connected to a ground-based infrastructure 205 via at least one communication medium 220. The method comprises: obtaining maintenance data, which is stored in the ground-based infrastructure and relates to malfunction of at least one functional component, via the at least one communication medium; and repairing the at least one functional component on the basis of the maintenance data obtained.
