PURPOSE: To eliminate the necessity of manual depressing operation of a steering pedal and set a steering angle of a front wheel remotely by providing steering cylinders, a manual changeover cylinder, and a reset cylinder, and supplying fluid from a fluid pressure source to these cylinders with the operation of operating switches.
CONSTITUTION: A measurer 2 performs steering operation, brings in a remote control panel 3 capable of measuring the actual steering angle of an operated front wheel 1 into a nose landing gear chamber, and turns on each unit operation switch provided on the remote control panel 3. Then air from an air source as a fluid pressure source can be flown into steering cylinders 4a and 4b provided in a steering seat 12, manual changeover cylinder provided on a steering lever 7, and a reset cylinder. When each of these cylinders 4a and 4b is operated, steering pedals 5a and 5b, the manual changeover switch provided on the steering lever 7, and the reset switch are operated so as to perform the steering operation of the front wheel 1. Thus the steering angle can be adjusted and inspected.
