Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve reliability in warning and monitoring and further to prevent that warning or monitoring from depending on the system of an aircraft so as not to exceed a maximum allowable turnout angle in the case of guiding the aircraft with a tractor.
CONSTITUTION: A beam is flooded from transmission/reception equipment, which is arranged on a tractor 1 at a specified angle αD to the lateral axis thereof, to the body of the aircraft. The reception equipment captures and detects the maximum reflection at a prescribed angle αL. flooding the beam of the transmission equipment perpendicularly to the body of the aircraft, a measuring signal is generated and this signal is converted to a control signal by an evaluating device. Corresponding to this control signal, a switching mechanism for operating and controlling a signal generator, a detection recorder and a driving/braking device for the tractor is controlled. The turnout angle αL at the time of maximum reflection expresses a signaling angle αS corresponding to the specified angle αD.
