PURPOSE: To efficiently perform storage and transport suitable for use of an unmanned aircraft by pivotally mounting a double wing on upper and lower parts of a fuselage and freely selecting a first orientation parallel to a fuselage during storage and transport and a second orientation perpendicular to the fuselage during flight.
CONSTITUTION: A wing assembly 12 comprises an upper wing 14 and a lower wing 16. Both the wings are respectively pivotally mounted on the upper and lower positions of a fuselage and can selectively pivotally rotate on pivots 18 and 20. The upper wing 14 is offset forward on the fuselage 10 with respect to the lower wing 16. Pivotally rotatable couplers 28 are pivotally connected to side elements 22 and 24 through the upper and lower wings 14 and 16 and fixing elements 26 so as to pivotally rotate on pivots 30. Then, the wing assembly 12 forms a rigid box wing structure during its flight, and can be freely bent on the fuselage when it is bent at its storage orientation, so that it does not need a space more than that requested by the fuselage. Then, the storage and transport orientation of an aircraft is converted into a flight orientation manually or using an electric motor or the like installed on the fuselage.
